Neighborhood Guide

Bermuda Riviera

Bermuda Riviera is an intimate and enchanting yachting and boating community of waterfront homes just across the street from the world famous Galt Ocean Mile and Fort Lauderdale's internationally renowned beautiful beaches.

Located to the East of the Intracoastal waterway, and west of A1A, between Commercial Boulevard and Oakland Park Boulevard, there is only one entrance to Bermuda Riviera.  That is by the guardhouse on NE 40th Street and A1A, guaranteeing that this remains an exclusive and secure residential neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale, with homes for sale from time to time for people who love boating and yachting.

Bermuda Riviera is comprised of just six small "finger islands" (similar in feel to the "islands" just off Las Olas Boulevard).  Each of these street has only one entrance.

With only 257 homes, almost all of them on deep water, Bermuda Riviera is one of the most sought after neighborhoods and will always be prime Ft Lauderdale residential real estate due to it's safe, secure small town feel.  In addition, Bermuda Riviera has direct easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway, Port Everglades, and the Hillsboro Inlet.

Most of the original Bermuda Riviera homes were built in the 1960's and 1970's. With an average lot size of between 8,000 and 10,000 sq ft.  Many of the new homes currently under construction or just completed have combined two or even three lots to create palatial deepwater luxury waterfront homes and family estates!

Bermuda Riviera is in the district of the award winning Bayview Elementary School District, for Kindergarten through 5th Grade and Sunrise Middle School's area, making it very popular with families.

And it is only steps to the beach, shopping, and restaurants.  Just minutes by car to Las Olas, Downtown Fort Lauderdale, the Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District or quaint Lauderdale By The Sea
