Il Lugano is a luxury condominium-hotel and residence with a great location along 250 feet of the Intracoastal in Galt Ocean Village.

Construction of this $65 million project was completed in 2007 and this condo hotel is now open and occupied.

Galt Ocean Village, now called The Village, is a charming pedestrian friendly area full of sidewalk cafes, shops, and services with an  old-world atmosphere.  It is a wide and beautifully landscaped area full of restaurants with sidewalk tables, retail stores and offices, just north of Oakland Park Boulevard and diagonally across North Ocean Boulevard (A1A) from L'Hermitage.

The location provides Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway views of sunrises and sunsets.  It's centrally located so all the best that Fort Lauderdale has to offer is only minutes away.

This resort hotel on Fort Lauderdale's Intracoastal Waterway includes a Waterfront Bar and Restaurant.  All units are pre-wired for Direct TV as well as phone and high speed internet access in all Bedrooms and Living Areas.  Daily deep-sea charters are planned and the local water-taxi and water-bus service stops at Il Lugano's dock.  

The Developer, Robert M Couf, has distinguished himself with the magnificent Ocean Plaza, recently completed in Deerfield Beach, among other projects.  The Architect is Revuelta Vega Leon, who designed La Rive, another stylish building going up on the Intracoastal.  Interiors will be fashioned by Lynn Wilson Associates.  They are best known locally for the Ritz Carlton in Miami and worldwide for every project Hilton does.
