- Ocean Front Property: Surprisingly, there are only 39 single family dwellings actually on the ocean in all of Broward County. Prices range from $1,950,000 to $27,750.000. *
- Directly on the Intracoastal Waterway: These properties have great wide water views but can present challenges when docking boats at home. Intracoastal front homes are priced from $800,000 to $10,500,000. *
- No Fixed Bridges: These are homes along deepwater canals or rivers that can be reached without passing under a fixed bridge. They provide direct Intracoastal access and are the favorite of sail boaters, serious boat owners and sport fishing enthusiasts. Prices vary by location. Deepwater Homes in Broward County start at $249,000 and run as high as $13,500,000 *
- Fixed Bridges are GREAT! The size of boat you can have is limited by the height of the bridges you pass under to get home. Prices vary according to how far you are from the Intracoastal, whether you're east or west of Federal Highway, and how much clearance there is to take your boat under the bridges. Perfect for those who have motor boats or who simply want relaxing water views! Prices for these Fixed Bridge homes in Broward County started at $129,000 when we did this report. That house offers 1091 sq. ft. and three bedrooms. It was about 50 minutes from the Intracoastal. Homes with "fixed bridge" access to the Intracoastal run as high as $2,275,000 for an "East of Federal" address. *
- Other Waterfront Locations: This would include attractive properties located on man made lakes and ponds. Prices vary according to location and size.
